Frequently Asked Questions
What is biblical counseling?
Our approach to counseling is commonly known as biblical counseling. At Brady Goodwin Counseling, we offer counseling that is biblically-based, Christ-centered, story-focused, and clinically-informed:
Biblically-based: Our counseling is rooted in a biblical worldview. Scripture shapes the perspective of your counselor, and identifies the goals of the counseling process.
Christ-centered: We see the person and work of Christ as central to healing and growth in one’s life.
Story-focused: Every person’s story is the relevant context where change occurs. Your story matters to God, and as such it is of primary interest to your counselor.
Clinically-informed: We take seriously the physical and environmental realities that inform our lives. Our counseling takes into consideration these factors in addressing the problems you are facing.
